The Sound of Two Italian Concert Grands

The E1 Air offers two distinct Italian concert grand piano voices, each meticulously sampled to preserve its individual character.
Piano 1 offers a bright, transparent tone that suits a wide range of genres, from classical to pop. Its balanced sound makes it perfectly suited for daily practice, composition, and recording.
Piano 2 is a newly sampled full concert grand with a spacious, expressive tone. Rich in nuance and natural ambience, it captures the feeling of performing in a concert hall. From delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo, it responds with the full emotional range of an acoustic grand, making it especially well-suited for expressive solo playing or performance preparation.

  The Italian grand piano, Classic piano, Jazz piano, Hall piano, and Ballad piano sounds faithfully recreate the "damper resonance" effect - the subtle, sympathetic vibrations of the strings that occur when the damper pedal is pressed.   The E1 Air features Korg’s Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 (RH3) keyboard, designed to replicate the nuanced feel of a grand piano. The key weight is graded across the range, offering a heavier touch in the lower register that becomes lighter toward the top - just like an acoustic instrument. Highly responsive to fast repetition and subtle dynamics, the RH3 accurately captures the full expression of your performance. Key touch control offers five selectable sensitivity levels (light, normal, heavy, stable, fixed), allowing you to tailor the response to your personal playing style.

  E1 Air includes a full three-pedal system - damper, soft, and sostenuto - just like a traditional piano. EvoTone is Korg’s dedicated internal power system, developed specifically for digital pianos.
