MicroKEY on liitettävissä langattomasti iPad/iPhone musiikkiappeihin kuten KORG Gadget, KORG Module sekä GarageBand sekä tietenkin kaikkiin MIDI-käyttöisiin musiikintuotantosoftiin Mac ja Windows ympäristöissä. Huippuunsa viritetyt Bluetooth ominaisuudet takaavat vakauden ja matalan latenssin ilman kaapeleita.

Keskimääräisellä tunnin käyttöajalla päivittäin paristot kestävät noin kuukauden. MicroKEY Air toimii kahdella AA paristolla. MicroKEY Air on liitettävissä laitteisiin myös USB-kaapelilla.
